Senior Automation QA Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing on the backend of a customer's CCaaS solution.

• Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks.

• Detect and analyze defects.

• Verify new feature implementations.

• Guarantee system stability, scalability, and compatibility with the evolving functionality of the product.

• Collaborate on significant projects for international clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

• Proficient in programming concepts and scripting languages, particularly Python.

• Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• Understanding of version control, bug-tracking, and test management tools.

• Background in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Basic log analysis capabilities.

• Hands-on experience with databases such as MySQL or equivalent.

• Fundamental knowledge of UNIX/Linux.

• Experience with Java programming concepts and scripting is desirable.

• Basic understanding of security protocols like OWASP and PCI Compliance is a plus.

• Familiarity with high-volume transactional systems is an advantage.
