Senior Associate, Technical Recruiting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the main recruiting partner for ASG's AI transformation projects.

• Oversee the entire recruiting process for roles related to AI/ML, AI-native software engineering, platform, infrastructure, and security.

• Create proactive talent pipelines for ongoing technical positions and emerging skill sets.

• Collaborate with ASG's CTO and engineering leaders to establish hiring strategies, refine candidate profiles, and achieve hiring objectives.

• Rigorously evaluate technical talent to identify exceptional AI-native builders versus candidates with superficial experience.

• Perform research and intelligence gathering on technical talent, including market mapping, compensation benchmarking, and analysis of competitive hiring practices.

• Develop frameworks for technical interviews, scorecards, and recruiting playbooks.

• Manage relationships with specialized technical recruiting partners and search firms when necessary.

• Align technical hiring strategies with ASG's long-term growth in collaboration with recruiters, portfolio leaders, and executives.

• Report directly to ASG's Head of Talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in recruiting technical talent within high-growth SaaS, technology, or VC/PE-backed environments.

• Proven track record in hiring talent for software engineering, AI/ML, platform, infrastructure, or security roles at both individual contributor and managerial levels.

• Strong technical fluency and the ability to accurately assess engineering talent across modern technologies and AI-native skill sets.

• Experience working with engineering leaders to formulate hiring strategies, influence hiring decisions, and provide outstanding candidate experiences.

• Deep understanding of technical talent markets, sourcing strategies, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.

• Demonstrated ability to build proactive talent pipelines, scalable recruiting processes, and trusted stakeholder relationships.

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
