This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide operational and implementation assistance for UNICEF USA’s Equity, Inclusion & Belonging portfolio.
• Oversee portfolio milestones, ensuring tracking, reporting, meetings, documentation, vendor coordination, speaker arrangements, survey distribution, contract management, invoice processing, budget oversight, and event organization.
• Aid in EIB communications, activities that enable change, stakeholder engagement, and resource development.
• Facilitate employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.
• Organize and implement staff events, wellness initiatives, engagement programs, and organization-wide gatherings, including the Impact Summit and Take Your Child to Work Day.
• Manage employee recognition and service award programs, including communication, tracking, and event organization.
• Assist with employee engagement communications, surveys, all-staff meetings, and employee experience initiatives.
• Oversee the People & Culture inbox and direct requests to appropriate team members.
• Enter and maintain personnel data in ADP for hiring, terminations, and employee changes.
• Keep People & Culture documents, employee maps, organizational charts, and anniversary presentations up to date.
• Lead and oversee People & Culture MarComms requests.
• Manage platform access for the People & Culture and Administration helpdesk.
• Provide operational, administrative, and transactional support to the People & Culture team and the Chief People & Operations Officer.
• Handle sensitive personnel and organizational information with confidentiality and assist in transitioning to controlled, auditable processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two to four years of relevant experience in human resources, operations, administration, program coordination, or event and logistics support.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities, with outstanding attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple recurring responsibilities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficient in, or able to rapidly learn, essential People & Culture and productivity systems, including ADP, Formstack, PolicyTech, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
• Strong judgment and a high degree of discretion when handling sensitive personnel and organizational information.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a service-oriented, collaborative approach to cross-team collaboration.
• Genuine interest in equity, inclusion, and belonging, along with enthusiasm for supporting EIB initiatives.
• Capability to operate within established financial and purchasing controls.
