People Optimization Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Oversee workforce strategy initiatives encompassing hiring, onboarding, upskilling, role clarity, and leadership development.

• Direct CIT and retrospective processes to pinpoint performance, system, and learning challenges, guiding targeted workforce solutions.

• Advise and influence leaders to define skill expectations, proficiency levels, and readiness for promotion.

• Manage the people aspect of change initiatives, identifying adoption risks and modifying approaches to ensure lasting behavioral change.

• Design, implement, and continuously enhance workforce tools, such as documentation templates, onboarding frameworks, and CIT.

• Incorporate enterprise skills-based practices into Select Health's hiring and development processes.

• Collaborate with enterprise teams to align Select Health workforce initiatives with organizational standards.

• Ensure leaders utilize HR-approved, enterprise-vetted workforce tools and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in workforce strategy, organizational development, change management, learning and development, or a related consulting field.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in person and through technology.

• Regular verbal communication and active listening skills are essential.

• Manual dexterity is required for computer usage and documentation tasks.

• Capability to consult with leaders and propel workforce strategy initiatives.

• Candidates must not currently reside or have plans to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, or Washington.

• Preferred: A Master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology, organizational development, education, human resources, or a related discipline.

• Preferred: Experience in healthcare or health plan environments.

• Preferred: Proven track record of influencing leaders without direct authority.
