Head of People & Culture – Volunteer Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for all volunteers.

• Establish networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for volunteers, including topic-specific discussion groups, regular meetings, or casual events.

• Foster and sustain relationships between volunteers and specialized departments.

• Enhance the volunteer experience from onboarding through continuous support.

• Develop a People & Culture experience that includes recognition initiatives and benefits while working within a very tight budget.

• Collaborate closely with the Executive Board on strategic goals and priorities.

• Collect feedback from volunteers and convert it into actionable improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in community, culture, or volunteer management, human resources, or a similar role.

• Strong interpersonal awareness and sensitivity to group dynamics, along with the ability to turn insights into actionable initiatives.

• Innovative thinking when working with limited resources: great ideas take precedence over budget.

• Excellent organizational skills and dependability in execution.

• Clear and respectful communication with individuals from various backgrounds.

• A formal qualification is not mandatory; practical experience is valued more.
