This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Conduct transactions in accordance with SOP/OPM and UCP/ISBP/ISP standards, ensuring charges are collected per existing guidelines.
• Execute sanction checks on relevant parties in documentation.
• Manage Commodity Trade Operations documentation.
• Authorize and input transactions into the system, preparing and authorizing related SWIFT messages.
• Complete ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Team Head.
• Communicate errors and knowledge gaps to the line manager/team to enhance customer service.
• Mitigate revenue loss by ensuring accurate charge collection.
• Ensure that there are no outstanding reconciliation items pending in Nostro or Internal accounts.
• Manage customer expectations while contributing ideas for automation initiatives.
• Engage in team meetings and collaborate to troubleshoot issues.
• Implement solutions swiftly and coordinate with onshore units for seamless client delivery.
• Effectively and promptly address audit observations.
• Take corrective and preventive measures based on customer feedback, operational errors, and quality/RCSA analysis.
• Suggest modifications to SOP, OPM, and ADM to enhance service levels without sacrificing controls.
• Propose training sessions and workshops to fill knowledge gaps.
• Promptly escalate errors, customer complaints, service issues, and counterparty concerns to the manager.
• Share responsibilities with senior colleagues.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in Trade Operations.
• Advanced knowledge in Import Payments (Trust Receipts, Advance Payments, Funded Risk Participations).
• Proficient understanding of accounting entries and UATs.
• Familiarity with amortization principles.
• Strong communication skills, team management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, with exceptional organizational skills and a collaborative spirit.
