Senior Associate – Healthcare Pricing, Proposal Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with intricate federal healthcare acquisitions and pricing assessments

• Evaluate offeror pricing submissions, financial models, actuarial documents, and relevant data

• Detect discrepancies and analyze pricing assumptions

• Create comparative analyses and back clear, justifiable pricing conclusions

• Examine solicitation pricing requirements, evaluation standards, contract conditions, performance durations, geographic areas, benefit categories, and supporting data needs

• Arrange offeror pricing workbooks, narratives, actuarial information, utilization data, staffing details, and supporting schedules

• Conduct financial and mathematical validation, including formulas, totals, cross-references, escalation factors, rate applications, and reconciliations

• Assess proposed rates, unit prices, fees, discounts, reimbursement methods, trend assumptions, regional adjustments, staffing costs, and other pricing influences

• Normalize and compare pricing across offerors, contract terms, regions, populations, and benefit categories

• Identify absent information, calculation errors, inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, outliers, unbalanced pricing, ambiguities, and potential financial or performance risks

• Collaborate with actuarial and technical consultants regarding pricing assumptions and clarification inquiries

• Assist with proposal revisions, final proposal adjustments, and negotiations

• Compile pricing findings, comparison matrices, analytical workpapers, exhibits, tables, charts, and financial-impact assessments

• Keep organized, reproducible, source-selection-ready workpapers and documentation

• Execute peer reviews and independently verify calculations, source data, assumptions, and conclusions

• Safeguard procurement-sensitive information and counsel Government personnel

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

• Capability to acquire a Public Trust Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

• Over 4 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, proposal analysis, healthcare economics, managed-care analytics, contracting, or a related area

• More than 2 years of experience reviewing complex financial models, pricing workbooks, proposals, rate schedules, forecasts, or supporting datasets, with the capacity to identify discrepancies, unsupported assumptions, and financial risks

• Over 2 years of experience utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliation, scenario analysis, and structured workbook organization
