This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide assistance to clients, frequently interacting with business owners, through chat and email support for 837/835-related issues.
• Develop and sustain an in-depth understanding of RCM/Clearinghouse functionalities.
• Address incoming customer inquiries via the single-channel support system.
• Collaborate independently with rehab therapy business owners and billing teams to fulfill specific client requirements.
• Resolve inquiries related to support tickets, including clearinghouse rejections, EDI Rules, and assistance with ERA/EDI applications.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the enrollment process and support for EDI/ERA.
• Comprehend customer-specific needs, including NPI/TIN billing combinations, payer mix, and distinct billing regulations.
• Ensure that the ERA/EDI enrollment process adheres to the onboarding timeline.
• Provide enrollment documentation and assistance upon request.
• Monitor accounts for enrollment-related rejections or complications throughout the implementation phase.
• Create innovative strategies to enhance EDI/ERA processes and boost customer satisfaction.
• Proficient understanding of X12 message formats (837P, 837I, 835, 276, 277).
• Comprehensive knowledge of segments and looping/grouping structures.
• Experience executing the Healthcare EDI/ERA enrollment process from initiation to completion for Part A and/or Part B facilities.
• Background as an EDI Analyst, addressing clearinghouse/payer-related rejections.
• Strong and effective communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills, able to clarify complex EDI/ERA processes in an understandable way during discussions with business owners.
• Proven extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with a heightened sense of urgency.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Self-motivated, capable of multitasking, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, taking the initiative to identify and resolve issues before they affect our clients.
• Experience in a startup and/or B2B SaaS technology organization.
• Familiarity with any aspect of clinical development or medical billing operations.
• Experience with Zendesk or comparable customer support software.
• Knowledge of healthcare data/systems, ideally related to clinical/operational clinical trial data/systems.
• Understanding of e-clinical systems and technologies (e.g., EMR, RTM, HEP, CRM, HIEs, etc.).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
