Senior Application Analyst – Epic Beaker, EpicCare Link

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the estimation process for enhancement or support requests.

• Direct the design of workflows, configure and test system modifications, and assess technical issues.

• Coordinate with stakeholders from business systems and software vendor implementation teams.

• Ensure alignment of business requirements with the delivery of system modifications.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of operational requirements and enhance workflows through technology.

• Engage in training sessions and collaborate with end users.

• Resolve problems and address inquiries.

• Offer end-user assistance for issues logged in tracking systems.

• Review project and issue progress with project leadership.

• Allocate or delegate configuration tasks and other duties to Application Analysts or members of the Managed Services team.

• Serve as a representative for the Applications Manager during incident or problem resolution.

• Guide peers and junior analysts while providing leadership in problem-solving.

• Spearhead the internal process design and documentation aimed at continuous improvement.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and maintain communication with project leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.

• Adhere to and support the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Maintain consistent and dependable attendance.

• Work standard business hours and participate in on-call responsibilities, which may include nights and weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline; or a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.

• Subject Matter Expert in patient identification workflows within healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.

• Must possess or be capable of obtaining relevant Epic software application(s) certification within 8 weeks of hire.

• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

• Proven ability to execute the Essential Duties with or without accommodations.

• Availability to work standard business hours, be on-call, and accommodate nights and weekends as necessary.

• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of working time.

• Current certification in Epic Beaker CP or EpicCare Link is preferred.

• Additional relevant Epic certifications are a plus.

• Experience in supporting or configuring Epic Aura workflows, particularly from a reference lab perspective, is preferred.

• Background in a health system, reference laboratory, biotechnology, or life sciences environment is preferred.

• Experience in supporting multiple Epic applications and cross-functional Epic workflows is preferred.

• Familiarity with clinical laboratory operations, pathology, genetics, or oncology workflows is preferred.

• Proven experience in leading medium to large Epic projects, upgrades, workflow optimizations, or significant application enhancements is preferred.
