Clinician, Behavioral Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee utilization management and care management for behavioral health and healthcare navigation concerning ASD services.

• Perform assessments and engage with members, families, and caregivers to determine needs and eliminate barriers to care.

• Link members with suitable healthcare and community resources.

• Facilitate care coordination and communication among members, providers, health plans, behavioral health teams, and community partners.

• Aid in effective treatment and discharge planning.

• Conduct ABA utilization management tasks, including benefit verification and medical necessity evaluations.

• Organize peer reviews.

• Inform stakeholders about authorization, denial, and appeals processes.

• Keep precise clinical documentation.

• Offer continuous support to members and providers.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain confidentiality.

• Take part in clinical staffing, professional development, and special projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid BCBA certification and licensure as required by the state of residence.

• Hands-on experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home and/or clinic environments.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel.

• Capability to understand medical policies and criteria and effectively communicate health information.

• Must be able to pass background checks upon hiring and throughout employment, which include criminal, identity, education, employment, healthcare sanctions, prohibited parties, sex offender registry, and a 10-panel drug screening.

• High-speed cable or fiber optic internet must be installed prior to starting, with a minimum download speed of 20 Mbps, upload speed of 5 Mbps, and maximum latency of 100 milliseconds.

• Frequent use of computer and phone systems is required.

• Ability to remain seated and stationary for extended durations and perform repetitive motions with arms and fingers.

• Must be able to communicate, exchange information, interpret data, solve problems, make decisions, organize, plan, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

• A quiet home workspace with minimal background noise is essential.

• A fixed, designated workspace within the home is necessary.

• A hardwired internet connection is required, along with the capability to use company-issued wired headsets and desktop equipment.
