Senior ASIC Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute RTL designs utilizing Verilog/SystemVerilog for high-speed data pathways and packet processing logic.

• Work alongside verification engineers to develop block- and system-level testing plans.

• Establish timing constraints for RTL components and collaborate with Physical Design engineers to achieve timing closure.

• Assist in post-silicon validation alongside hardware, firmware, and software teams to troubleshoot and rectify ASIC issues.

• Contribute to strategies for performance enhancement and power-aware design in Host Fabric Interface subsystems.

• Design state-of-the-art SoCs for high-performance computing, advanced data analytics, and AI interconnect solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of professional experience in digital design following graduation.

• Expertise in Verilog and SystemVerilog.

• Experience in RTL design for high-speed data pathways or packet processing within ASICs.

• In-depth knowledge of Host Ethernet adapter architectures.

• Familiarity with timing closure and contemporary physical design methodologies.

• Demonstrated capability in system-level debugging and root cause analysis of technical challenges.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Understanding of Ethernet architecture and networking protocols.

• Previous experience with RTL development for Ethernet host adapters and system debugging.

• Proficient in designs involving multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces.

• At least 5 years of experience with scripting languages such as TCL, Python, or Perl.

• Knowledgeable in EDA tools like Design Compiler, Spyglass, or PrimeTime.
