This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Drive sales performance and achieve relevant Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet or surpass the district sales plan while adhering to budget constraints.
• Enhance resource utilization by leading, developing, and mentoring the Sales Team to boost their performance.
• Establish sales targets and incentive programs.
• Oversee Sales Force Management Systems and KPIs to consistently elevate district sales outcomes.
• Provide regular updates on the Sales Team's medical, technical, and specialized in-field expertise.
• Lead, manage, and coordinate effective multidisciplinary In Field Teams, including Key Account Management.
• Ensure alignment in strategy and tactics between In Field and Brand Team initiatives.
• Enable timely and qualitative market intelligence sharing among In Field, Brand Teams, and Sales Function.
• Align district priorities, plans, and engagement strategies with brand objectives and national strategic goals.
• Monitor and consolidate regional engagement and account plan results to inform brand strategy and anticipate market shifts or requirements.
• Address the needs of key stakeholders and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Achieve mutually beneficial agreements with stakeholders.
• Influence designated key stakeholders, including high-prescribing physicians and wholesalers, to optimize brand performance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with over 9 years of relevant experience.
• Any necessary governmental and/or legal certifications as mandated by the applicable country’s laws and regulations, if required.
• Relevant business experience demonstrating a successful track record in biotech/pharma sales or sales management within at least one therapeutic area.
• Proven history of effective leadership, management, and coaching of cross-functional or functional individuals and teams.
• Familiarity with the territory and established connections with key stakeholders.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other pertinent stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and planning capabilities, including the development of work plans, activities, timelines, and targeting, with a focus on execution excellence.
• Proficient in operating, leading, and facilitating within a matrix organization/environment.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing, for non-English-speaking countries.
• Recognized as a talent developer within the local biotech/pharma landscape is preferred.
• Marketing and other commercial experience in the biotech/pharma sector is preferred.
