This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Build new business opportunities and enhance existing accounts within the designated geographic area and product range.
• Provide service and support to current Emperion clients through weekly or biweekly face-to-face sales interactions.
• Engage with TPAs, insurance firms, self-insured businesses, and attorneys to assess managed care requirements and showcase Emperion IME services.
• Participate in industry conferences and events to foster business growth and revenue.
• Prepare annual Branch Plans forecasting growth of existing accounts and new business revenue.
• Deliver quarterly territory Blueprints and revise account Action Strategies every six months.
• Maintain a monthly sales pipeline aligned with measurable financial objectives.
• Join bi-monthly pipeline conference calls with the Director.
• Complete daily reports reflecting sales and account activity.
• Present product and service offerings to current accounts and potential clients.
• Meet quarterly targets for all products and services.
• Strategically plan and oversee the sales territory with the Director.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of RFPs.
• Attend the annual regional meeting to present previous year’s outcomes and the plan for the upcoming year.
• Monitor branch inventory in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
• Direct leads to local, regional, or national resources.
• Oversee marketing expenditures for conferences, entertainment, travel, and promotional materials.
• Travel extensively across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
• Must live within the assigned territory.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven track record in building and sustaining long-term client relationships.
• Strategic thinker with the capacity to recognize market opportunities and promote growth.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Capability to effectively manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic market environment.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience in healthcare, managed care, or related fields is an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of IME and Peer Review products across jurisdictions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
