
Senior Area Innovation Manager – GI Genius Sales – Endoscopy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accelerate the adoption and ongoing use of Medtronic’s AI-driven GI Genius platform.
• Collaborate with enterprise health systems, management service organizations (MSOs), integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices.
• Facilitate technology integration, clinical adoption, and realization of long-term value.
• Spearhead enterprise-level sales and market development initiatives.
• Enhance the utilization of the installed base and share best practices with the broader commercial organization.
• Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Manage intricate sales cycles, executive negotiations, and enterprise-level contracts.
• Act as a commercial specialist in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Formulate and implement growth strategies at the territory level.
• Work in partnership with marketing, health economics, clinical, operations, and executive leadership teams.
• Establish and nurture relationships with executive leaders in health systems, physicians, administrators, and key opinion leaders.
• Conduct clinical product demonstrations, provide physician education, and support on-site adoption.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource throughout evaluation, implementation, and post-installation optimization phases.
• Ensure proper usage of CRM, manage pipeline, forecast sales, report data, oversee expenses, and comply with training requirements.
• Adhere to Medtronic policies, compliance standards, and the Code of Conduct.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years OR Associate's Degree with 6+ years OR Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must be located within 50 miles of Dallas, TX, Fort Worth, TX, or Austin, TX.
• Over 7 years of experience in complex, quota-driven commercial roles with a proven record of top-tier performance.
• Experience in enterprise-level solution selling in healthcare technology, software (SaaS), or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas and being recognized as a top performer.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder, extended-duration sales within IDNs, MSOs, hospitals, or ASC networks.
• Strong clinical knowledge and business acumen.
• Experience in selling within procedural or physician-driven clinical settings.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and lead cross-functional projects.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft O365.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is mandatory.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required upon hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for positions below the Principal level.
