This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• Propel the uptake and ongoing usage of Medtronic’s AI-powered GI Genius™ platform.
• Collaborate with enterprise health systems, MSOs, IDNs, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices.
• Facilitate technology integration, clinical adoption, and realization of long-term value.
• Oversee enterprise-level sales and market development initiatives.
• Increase utilization of the installed base and disseminate best practices to the wider commercial organization.
• Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, executive negotiations, and enterprise contracting.
• Act as a commercial authority in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Stay updated on trends in artificial intelligence within healthcare, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors influencing AI adoption.
• Position GI Genius as the leading AI platform through narratives highlighting clinical, operational, and economic value.
• Formulate and implement growth strategies at the territory level.
• Work in conjunction with marketing, health economics, clinical, operations, and executive leadership teams.
• Establish and nurture relationships with health system executives, physicians, service line administrators, and key opinion leaders.
• Provide tailored workflow, economic, and clinical strategies for customers.
• Exhibit expertise in GI Genius clinical evidence, disease pathways, algorithm development principles, and real-world performance statistics.
• Conduct clinical product demonstrations, educate physicians, and offer on-site support for adoption.
• Serve as a reliable clinical and technical resource during evaluation, implementation, and post-installation optimization.
• Ensure effective usage of CRM, maintain pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and visibility into opportunity progression.
• Complete necessary reporting, manage expenses, and ensure training compliance.
• Follow Medtronic policies, compliance standards, and the Code of Conduct.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience OR Associate's Degree with 6+ years OR Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles in medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• 7+ years of experience in complex, quota-driven commercial roles with a proven record of top-tier performance.
• Experience in enterprise-level solution selling within healthcare technology, software (SaaS), or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• A demonstrated history of surpassing sales quotas and recognition as a top performer (e.g., President’s Club or equivalent).
• Background in leading multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales within IDNs, MSOs, hospitals, or ASC networks.
• Strong clinical and business acumen, capable of conveying economic and operational value to executive audiences.
• Experience selling in procedural or physician-driven clinical settings.
• Proven ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and lead cross-functional projects.
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft O365.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and executive communication abilities.
• For degrees obtained outside the U.S., a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
