Senior Architect – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical and strategic liaison for designated customers during their subscription period.

• Provide guidance on best practices, data strategies, analytic maturity, and integrations utilizing Alteryx solutions.

• Assist clients in creating Centers of Excellence, scalable governance frameworks, and initiatives for analytic modernization.

• Collaborate with internal teams to synchronize expertise in support of technical results and strategic goals.

• Design and oversee complex implementations of Alteryx Designer, Server, AACP, and Intelligence Suite.

• Lead environment planning and upgrades while reducing downtime and risk.

• Monitor and evaluate customer usage patterns to pinpoint optimization and training opportunities.

• Provide enablement plans, documentation, and proactive suggestions to encourage self-sufficiency.

• Stay informed about emerging cloud and analytics trends to guide customer strategies.

• Disseminate knowledge both internally and externally to foster technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in a technical role that involves direct customer interaction.

• Proven track record in managing enterprise client relationships and leading analytics/BI deployments.

• Established expertise with Alteryx Designer and Server.

• Alteryx Core Certification is highly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of data platforms and database technologies, including SQL, RDBMS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for both technical and business audiences, including executive stakeholders.

• Preferred experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Qlik.

• Preferred experience with SQL, shell scripting, and Python.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

• Familiarity with the Alteryx Platform, including Cloud.

• Experience in BI/Dashboard development and data engineering.

• Preferred certifications in cloud and data architecture.

• Experience with customer lifecycle management tools such as Salesforce and Gainsight.

• Ability to comply with U.S. export controls.
