This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee a portfolio of sophisticated application and system solutions for prominent Aerospace and Defense clients.
• Create and implement technical sales strategies to meet business goals.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients and partners.
• Discover new business prospects and propel growth within the designated market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer-focused technical solutions.
• Manage advanced applications and system solutions customized to client requirements.
• Partner with the SAM to develop and execute sales strategies alongside supported customers.
• Identify and nurture relationships with engineers and crucial technical partners for new project opportunities.
• Offer daily technical support and resolve issues with sales partners.
• Report directly to the Sales Director for Aerospace.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales engineering roles, particularly in advanced applications and systems.
• Technical expertise in advanced application and systems engineering.
• Background in sensing sales.
• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to influence various levels across the organization.
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and navigating a highly matrixed environment.
• Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, multifaceted setting.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of surpassing financial targets.
• Ability to attain results within a matrixed organizational structure.
• Clear communication and vision-setting capabilities.

• US citizenship is required due to contractual security clearance stipulations.
