Senior Application Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee threat modeling, secure design evaluations, and penetration testing for Unity's products and services.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and manual testing on systems identified as high-risk.

• Develop and manage security automation solutions.

• Utilize and enhance AI-driven tools to facilitate ongoing code reviews.

• Protect Unity’s AI systems and autonomous agent technologies.

• Assess AI-integrated products and the use of large language models (LLMs).

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to ensure the resolution of identified issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five years of experience in application security with a successful history in complex, large-scale systems.

• Deep understanding of secure coding methodologies and common vulnerability types, including the OWASP Top 10 and more.

• Practical experience in secure development across various programming languages.

• Hands-on expertise in penetration testing, security evaluations, and vulnerability management utilizing standard tools.

• Experience in cloud security for platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• Familiarity with secure architecture patterns.

• Capability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different regions.
