This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Serve as the engineering liaison to Sales, Project Delivery, and Commercial Operations teams during the proposal stages.
• Offer technical assistance related to design, production, availability, and performance of GEH reactor designs.
• Create and manage customer-facing materials, including Virtual Reality content for the BWRX-300.
• Standardize commercial offerings and technical strategies for the global deployment of the BWRX-300.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs on local regulations, codes, standards, and implementation strategies.
• Provide guidance on the Division of Responsibilities, cost estimates, project timelines, site assessments, siting studies, and plant configurations.
• Oversee the handover from ITO to OTR for project implementation teams post-contract awards.
• Represent GVH Advanced Nuclear at customer meetings and during competitive bidding processes.
• Participate in internal project meetings and customer negotiations.
• Analyze customer requirements to ensure appropriate application of GEH equipment.
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and quality.
• Guarantee timely completion of assigned proposal activities and business initiatives.
• Cultivate technical skills in alignment with position responsibilities.
• Identify and communicate project schedule or requirements issues promptly for resolution.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
• At least 8 years of experience in the power generation sector.
• Minimum 4 years of proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information; offers are contingent upon obtaining authorization from the U.S. Government.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced degree in engineering.
• Familiarity with nuclear power systems, power plants, controls, equipment, and terminology.
• Understanding of nuclear regulations and ability to engage with foreign nuclear regulatory agencies.
• Experience with engineering and project tools, processes, and software.
• Strong skills in planning, organization, influence, and networking.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated with a record of design creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in additional languages (written and spoken).
• Solid background in nuclear power plant design, application, regulations, and operations.
• In-depth knowledge of light water reactors (BWRX-300, ABWR, ESBWR) and sodium fast reactors (PRISM, Natrium, and Versatile Test Reactor).
• Familiarity with international regulators and their regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Training or certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience working within a global organization.
