Senior Application Engineer – Machine Tool Industry

📋 Description

• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales for effective project management.

• Grasp customers’ business, technology, and product specifications, aligning Kennametal tooling solutions, products, and services with their needs.

• Surpass customer expectations through Kennametal's service standards, technical knowledge, and additional value-added services.

• Execute sales forecasting, account planning, and administrative duties to profitably enhance business growth.

• Comprehend and leverage company resources effectively.

• Continuously enhance technical, product, and sales competencies.

• Foster strong relationships with existing customer accounts to increase market share.

• Manage customer accounts, provide training and mentorship to junior team members, and assume leadership roles as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

• 5 to 7+ years of proven field or manufacturing experience within the metal cutting sector.

• Preferred experience with OEM machine tool manufacturers.

• Background in a comprehensive technical manufacturing environment.

• Skilled in identifying and evaluating customer requirements.

• Competent in understanding and conveying all product and technical details.

• Capable of interpreting and explaining complex contract conditions.

• Able to operate independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and effective communication.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
