This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate design drawings and submissions for the accuracy of cooling system applications, which includes equipment selection, capacity, and hydronic configuration.
• Collaborate with customers and consulting design engineers to assess and confirm equipment applications.
• Assist the estimating team by providing equipment selections and technical scope insights for precise proposals.
• Offer engineering support to the project management team, addressing technical inquiries, resolving drawing conflicts, and responding to RFIs and submissions.
• Aid customers with application and technical inquiries throughout the installation and startup phases.
• Convey field experiences back to R&D and Product Development to enhance product quality and performance.
• Act as the technical link between ThermalWorks products and customer projects.
• Report directly to the Director of Research & Development.
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of mechanical engineering experience specializing in cooling equipment applications or design reviews.
• Proficient in data center cooling systems.
• Experience with chillers, CDUs, and liquid cooling for AI or hyperscale deployments.
• Background in applications engineering at a cooling equipment manufacturer.
• Familiarity with mechanical design documents, schedules, and hydronic schematics.
• Excellent client communication skills and the ability to work directly with customer engineers and consultants.
