Field/Application Engineer – Robotics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Implement and set up robotics systems directly at client locations

• Assist with commissioning, go-live phases, and initial production rollouts

• Provide training for customers and facilitate handovers to operational teams

• Record configurations, technical specifications, and unresolved issues

• Analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges during active operations

• Deliver continuous support and aid with maintenance and service-related inquiries

• Diagnose hardware, interface, and system-related problems

• Minimize dependence on supplier assistance by enhancing team expertise

• Elevate technical concerns to vendors and internal departments

• Share field insights to enhance deployment and support methodologies

• Assist in developing standards, checklists, and best practices for customer projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical expertise in mechatronics, electronics, automation, or a related discipline

• Practical experience with hardware systems, technical setups, or field service roles

• Background in installing or maintaining technical systems

• Proficiency in German and basic English language skills

• Readiness to travel across the DACH region

• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities

• Methodical, dependable, and organized work approach

• Excellent customer orientation and effective communication in technical contexts

• High sense of accountability and commitment to resolving issues

• Nice to have: Experience with robotics, AGVs, AMRs, or industrial automation

• Nice to have: Basic understanding of networking or IT
