Senior Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain intricate application features and integrations.

• Convert requirements into technical designs and estimations.

• Produce clean, secure, and thoroughly tested code.

• Oversee code reviews and establish development standards.

• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues.

• Guide junior and mid-level developers through mentorship.

• Collaborate with testers, analysts, and team leads to ensure timely release deliveries.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Over 7 years of experience in application development.

• Proficient experience with Java or another enterprise programming language such as C# or Python.

• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and web services.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Regularly required to utilize standard office equipment including computers, phones, scanners, and printers.

• Preferred: Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting federal government contracts.
