Senior Application Analyst – Epic Beaker/EpicCare Link

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the estimation process for enhancement or support requests.

• Direct workflow design, configure and test system modifications, and investigate technical issues.

• Engage with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.

• Gain insight into operational requirements and identify opportunities for workflow improvements through technology.

• Contribute to training sessions and collaborate with end users.

• Resolve problems and address inquiries.

• Offer end-user support for issues logged into tracking systems.

• Review project and issue progress with project leadership.

• Assign or delegate configuration and related tasks to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.

• Act as a representative for the Applications Manager in incident or problem resolution.

• Guide junior analysts and peers, providing leadership in problem-solving efforts.

• Spearhead internal process design and documentation for ongoing IT enhancements.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with project leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.

• Adhere to and support the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Promote the company's mission and values, including accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor's degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role.

• Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.

• Must possess or be able to obtain relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

• Current certification in Epic Beaker CP or EpicCare Link is preferred.

• Additional relevant Epic certifications are preferred, including Epic Genomics, Epic Aura, Epic Beaker AP, Epic Ambulatory, or Epic Orders.

• Experience in supporting or configuring Epic Aura workflows, particularly from a reference lab perspective, is preferred.

• Background in a health system, reference laboratory, biotechnology, or life sciences environment is preferred.

• Experience in supporting multiple Epic applications and cross-functional Epic workflows is preferred.

• Familiarity with supporting clinical laboratory operations, pathology, genetics, or oncology workflows is preferred.

• Proven experience leading medium-to-large Epic projects, upgrades, workflow optimizations, or significant application enhancements is preferred.

• Capability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

• Willingness to work during normal business hours and on-call, including potential nights and weekends.

• Ability to travel approximately 5% of working hours.

• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds for around 5% of a typical working day.

• Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or engage in typing for about 90% of a typical working day.

• Compliance with applicable personal protective equipment requirements is necessary.
