This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +6 more countries.
• Collaborate with Marketing and ad network representatives to enhance conversion signals.
• Evaluate product and ad platform modifications and investigate any performance declines related to signals.
• Create and sustain server-to-server conversion pipelines for ad networks with support from Data Engineering.
• Ensure timely, deduplicated, and high-quality delivery of signals.
• Set up and initiate integrations with new ad platforms, including the delivery of conversion signals and reporting data feeds.
• Oversee Google Tag Manager releases across various web properties.
• Implement pixels and conversion events for ad networks.
• Monitor Meta EMQ, pixel and CAPI diagnostics, deduplication, Google Ads conversion diagnostics, Enhanced Conversions, click ID capture, and offline conversion uploads.
• Develop monitoring and alert systems for errors, latency, coverage, and discrepancies.
• Maintain UTM parameters and naming conventions for campaigns to ensure accurate attribution.
• Create ad-hoc and monitoring reports pertaining to conversion values, bidding performance, signal delivery, and funnel metrics.
• Define metrics for Signal Engineering.
• Build and maintain customized marketing datasets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Data Engineering, and representatives from ad platforms.
• Complete the candidate journey, which includes a recruiter call, a technical interview, a take-home task, and a panel presentation.
• Over 3 years of experience in marketing analytics, digital measurement, ad technology, or tracking.
• Proficient in advanced SQL, including window functions, CTEs, performance-aware querying, and data quality assessments.
• Experience working with large-scale data warehouses.
• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar; Tableau is the primary business intelligence tool.
• Experience in collaborating with performance marketing/user acquisition stakeholders and conveying insights to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of browser-side and server-side tracking methodologies.
• Practical understanding of at least one ad platform, including campaign types, bidding strategies, and conversion configurations.
• Strong grasp of marketing metrics.
• Awareness of GDPR-compliant tracking practices.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Nice to have: knowledge of mobile attribution and tracking, including SKAdNetwork (SKAN).
• Nice to have: experience with a Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar.
• Nice to have: experience with incrementality and holdout testing.
• Nice to have: experience with Meta Conversions API (CAPI) or Google Data Manager API.
• Nice to have: experience with Lifetime Value (LTV) modeling and calculations, preferably for subscription-based products.
• Nice to have: experience with tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar data technologies.
