Data & Analytics Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with Data & Analytics Developers to bring the vision and roadmap established by the Data & Analytics Manager to fruition.

• Engage with stakeholders across NEC to convert business requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.

• Assist in data discovery and design data models for analytical initiatives.

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Create and automate Power Automate workflows to enhance and optimize business processes.

• Construct and launch custom business applications using Power Apps.

• Manage reporting datasets and dataflows.

• Document and refine the analytical reporting delivery process.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance and security of reporting assets.

• Keep updated with trends in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint, suggesting enhancements as needed.

• Identify new areas for influence within the Data & Analytics division.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Power BI Development, including DAX queries, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Expertise in developing with Power Apps and Power Automate.

• A strong interest in data analytics and workflow automation.

• Excellent diligence and critical thinking capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel throughout the UK as necessary.

• Familiarity with Power Tools (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate).

• Experience in creating reports and dashboards, and utilizing M query.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, etc.).

• Exposure to AI concepts or a willingness to learn.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex situations to both end users and technical staff.

• Familiarity with MS Fabric, Azure Data Services, Salesforce, SAP ECC Business Warehouse, or Dynamics CRM is a plus.

• A commitment to learning new technologies.

• Knowledge of Python, TSQL, and Excel Scripting.

• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence required.

• Successful completion of vetting, references, and occupational health checks required; a DBS check may also be necessary depending on the role.
