Senior Analytics Engineer – Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain data analytics solutions that align with business goals and enhance value in care delivery.

• Design, construct, and uphold intricate data models to meet essential operational and reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with both internal and external teams to execute data-driven solutions aimed at improving care delivery and business value.

• Establish and enforce data quality and integrity standards.

• Perform data exploration and analysis to uncover insights and trends within healthcare and business systems data.

• Develop and manage data infrastructure, which includes data pipelines, databases, and data warehousing solutions.

• Create, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards that offer actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Convey technical work products and complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience engaging with data in an analytical, engineering, or business setting.

• Proficiency at a senior level.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is an advantage.

• Expertise in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation tasks.

• Capability and enthusiasm for operationalizing new data and AI tools, particularly in cloud-based environments.

• Experience in developing or contributing to complex data models, especially using DBT.

• Background in working with healthcare or other regulated sensitive data, such as in banking, fintech, insurance, or government sectors.

• Aptitude for communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, healthcare informatics, statistics, or related fields is preferred.

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect is a plus.

• A reliable internet connection and a suitable laptop are required.
