This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers to transform product concepts into analytically sound products by establishing metrics, crafting dashboard narratives, defining validation methods, and identifying design discrepancies.

• Oversee an analytics team as the technical lead, which includes defining project scope, managing sprints, handling ticketing, overseeing project management, and facilitating delivery.

• Develop and maintain metric definitions and semantic context through direct data exploration and thorough documentation.

• Ensure the integrity of analytics by maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and preventing misleading definitions or interpretations from reaching clients.

• Assist in conducting exploratory analyses and proofs of concept to validate ROI narratives during the product discovery phase.

• Help establish analytics standards within the organization.

• Report directly to the Analytics Program Lead.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong analytical skills, evidenced by a proven history of developing high-quality, comprehensive analytical components rather than merely performing ad hoc analyses.

• Adaptable critical thinking abilities, with a proven capacity to quickly learn and translate general skills into practical applications, even without extensive domain knowledge.

• Practical experience with SQL and contemporary data warehousing solutions (DBX is preferred).

• Proficient in data visualization design and business intelligence development skills (Sigma or similar tools).

• Proven ability to collaborate with Product Managers as a trusted colleague, transforming initial ideas into robust products and challenging concepts constructively.

• Experience in leading a small team, confident in managing sprints, coordinating tasks, and ensuring optimal productivity without becoming a bottleneck.
