Senior Analyst – Software Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide production support for essential enterprise applications serving CVS Health's Pharmacy Benefit Management sector.

• Diagnose technical problems and investigate production incidents.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement necessary code modifications.

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Angular, APIs, and cloud technologies.

• Contribute to enhancements of applications, improve system stability, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Review application logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts to identify production issues.

• Collaborate effectively with Lead Engineers, Software Development Engineers, Product Owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

• Support processes related to incident management, problem management, and change management.

• Ensure the reliability and performance of applications.

• Expand technical and business domain knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in software development, application support, or production support settings.

• Strong practical experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-oriented applications.

• Proficiency in developing and maintaining front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications within cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.

• Solid understanding of SQL and database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.

• Experience in analyzing application logs, monitoring dashboards, and system alerts.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and DevOps methodologies.

• Knowledge of distributed systems, API integrations, and application performance troubleshooting.

• Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and customer-oriented environment.

• Experience in supporting healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or other highly regulated sectors is preferred.

• Knowledge of EDI transactions, file transfer processes, and system integrations is a plus.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.

• Experience working in Agile development teams is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code is preferred.

• Understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy best practices is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• An equivalent combination of education, professional training, and relevant work experience will be taken into account.
