Senior Analyst, Global Supply Chain Planning – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the design and enhancement of analytical tools, planning workflows, dashboards, and system-enabled processes that facilitate decisions related to demand, supply, inventory, and operations.

• Create predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models aimed at forecasting, assessing inventory risk, identifying supply constraints, evaluating service performance, and detecting exceptions through AI, automation, and self-service solutions.

• Conduct exploratory analysis, root-cause investigations, data validation, feature development, and performance assessments.

• Build scenario and simulation models to evaluate trade-offs involving service, cost, inventory, and risk.

• Convert supply chain and business challenges into scalable analytical solutions that are integrated into processes and systems.

• Collaborate with IT, planning, operations, and finance teams to enhance data flows, reporting frameworks, planning system outputs, and analytical instruments.

• Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, recommendations, and business insights.

• Enhance data quality, metric consistency, and analytical rigor throughout the planning organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, operations research, data science, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics, systems, operations research, industrial engineering, or a similar quantitative role.

• Proficiency in SQL, BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and advanced Excel capabilities.

• Preferred experience with Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the skill to transform ambiguous business inquiries into actionable solutions.

• Experience handling large, complex datasets and formulating clear analytical recommendations and outputs.

• Interest and expertise in AI-enabled workflows and production deployments.

• Excellent communication skills, including the capability to elucidate technical concepts and model outputs to business and executive stakeholders.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while exhibiting a strong sense of ownership and a builder mindset.

• Preferred: experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, retail, CPG, or automotive sectors.

• Preferred: familiarity with statistical analysis, optimization, anomaly detection, predictive modeling, scenario modeling, or machine learning techniques.

• Preferred: experience supporting global or multi-region business operations.
