Supply Chain Associate – Inventory, Purchasing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage the Group Mailbox to log incoming Purchase Order (PO) confirmations.

• Contact Suppliers who have not submitted confirmations.

• Address overdue PO lines and update Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and tracking information.

• Assist with backorder follow-ups, identifying root causes and recovery information.

• Resolve discrepancies with the Planner regarding pricing and Unit of Measure (UOM).

• Collaborate with receiving plants on issues related to receiving discrepancies.

• Utilize tools to prioritize tasks and document actions taken.

• Oversee all Purchase Orders processed through SAP/ECC as Stock Transport Orders.

• Confirm Delivery Note (DN) drops and Goods Issued.

• Support the Planner/Buyer with updates on Component status.

• Work alongside Distribution planners to acquire backorder ETA and monitor shipments.

• Create and sustain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), update coverage/scheduling matrices, and provide training for new B1 PA’s as necessary.

• Offer backup support during the absence of a Planner/Buyer.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Strong customer service experience.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with computer systems.
