This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Optimize transportation and warehousing for capital equipment and DCFC network service parts.

• Lead efficient logistics operations for the national DC fast charging network and direct-to-consumer Electrify Home chargers.

• Manage fulfillment and reverse logistics, which includes warranty returns, service, and RMAs of failed parts.

• Develop annual operating budgets and set strategic logistics objectives and goals.

• Oversee three large-scale third-party logistics providers, encompassing shipment planning, execution, and warehousing.

• Lead and nurture a team consisting of 4 direct employees and over 20 indirect logistics professionals.

• Plan and implement company-wide logistics operations across 10 warehouse locations in the USA and Canada.

• Report on supply chain analysis, costs, inventory, and logistics performance KPIs to executive leadership.

• Monitor transportation market trends and pinpoint corporate, industry, and regional issues necessitating cross-functional strategies.

• Develop supply chain technology solutions aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency.

• Execute strategic initiatives to accomplish the lowest total cost of ownership and annual savings targets.

• Direct strategic 3PL operations, perform quarterly business reviews, ensure compliance with contracts, and manage supplier performance.

• Lead the cross-functional Inventory Review Committee and drive year-over-year reductions in inventory.

• Manage logistics quoting and budgeting for commercial proposals and Consent Decree projects.

• Ensure equipment traceability through cycle counts, receiving processes, and audit-compliance practices.

• Assist with invoice receiving and payment processes.

• Prepare quarterly forecasts and budgets for supply chain expenses.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills—interpersonal, oral, and written.

• Experience in vendor and supplier performance management in accordance with contracts.

• Ability to conduct complex analytical assessments.

• Proficiency in influencing and negotiation skills.

• Strong complex problem-solving abilities and independent decision-making.

• Resource management skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and show initiative.

• Strong computer and software proficiency.

• High attention to detail.

• Proven record of precision and integrity in previous work assignments.

• Extensive experience in global logistics and supply chain management.

• Demonstrated experience leading logistics teams and initiatives.

• Leadership experience in developing supply chain personnel.

• Subject matter expertise in logistics and inventory management.

• Expertise in global and domestic shipping across all modes—ocean, rail, truck, LTL, parcel—as well as import and export experience.

• Familiarity with budgeting, financial modeling methods, and business case creation/presentation.

• Proven experience with financial and inventory audits, accounting, and reporting.

• Experience managing and negotiating contracts.

• Proven ability to effectively manage vendors and subcontractors.

• Understanding of project management techniques and methods.

• Experience with the implementation and management of third-party logistics providers (3PL) is preferred.

• Experience with SAP is a plus.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is desirable.

• MBA is preferred.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, 1 to 2 times per month.
