Senior Analyst Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, and develop tests to create robust new features within an agile environment.

• Deliver ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for both existing and new systems and platforms.

• Collaborate across functions with data scientists, business users, project managers, and other engineers to develop elegant solutions.

• Offer recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Work alongside fellow engineers and scientists to advance technology and consistently implement best practices.

• Engage in projects that involve multiple engineers.

• Provide support to other engineers.

• Assist in the hiring of future colleagues and enhance candidates' hiring experiences, including refining the technical assessment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Smalltalk or as a software engineer in the life insurance industry is essential.

• Hands-on experience with relevant technologies.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• A collaborative team spirit.

• Familiarity with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Master’s degree in engineering, PhD in science, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in English; English is the primary working language.

• Knowledge of French or Italian is advantageous.
