Senior Analyst, Business Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct monthly reviews of guarantee performance by client.

• Prepare reports on financial performance.

• Provide necessary reporting and information for audit requests.

• Collaborate with Underwriting, Networks, Sales/Account Management, Audit, and Legal to assess contract terms and suggest pricing strategies.

• Execute monthly data extractions for designated guarantee clients.

• Analyze performance outcomes, drug mix, and utilization to pinpoint opportunities for reducing financial risk.

• Work together with underwriting, finance, and accounting teams to enhance process efficiencies and eliminate overlaps.

• Carry out retrospective analyses comparing underwriting assumptions, contract terms, and actual outcomes.

• Create reporting packages and presentations for management review.

• Establish best practices and draw insights to guide essential business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing financial models and handling large datasets in a database setting.

• At least 3 years of experience in managing various projects and delivering timely results.

• Over 2 years of experience with SQL/Google Cloud BigQuery.

• Proficiency in Excel is required.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Preferred knowledge of the health insurance, managed care, or pharmaceutical sectors.

• At least 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), ideally in drug pricing and analytics.
