Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess customer use cases and business goals to guide analytics and business intelligence efforts.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp both internal and client analytical requirements and rationale.

• Establish success metrics and create measurement frameworks in partnership with relevant teams.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret business requirements effectively.

• Create documentation for business intelligence dashboards adhering to RxVantage standards.

• Maintain uniformity in metric names, calculations, definitions, and dashboard presentations.

• Act as a subject matter expert on data domains, sources, and their applications.

• Acquire business insights into life sciences, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical sectors to customize dashboards.

• Design scalable and efficient BI solutions to meet internal analytical requirements.

• Independently oversee a Jira backlog of user requests, communicate progress, and adhere to delivery timelines.

• Contribute insights on backlog development and timelines.

• Adhere to the RxVantage Tableau security framework.

• Produce internal-facing Tableau dashboards and data-driven insights that support RxVantage's life sciences and sales teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient experience with Tableau.

• Background in creating internal BI tools or dashboards that aid operational, product, or executive decision-making.

• Experience in conducting raw data analysis outside of a BI tool.

• Capability to evaluate customer use cases and business objectives.

• Proficiency in gathering and interpreting business requirements.

• Skill in defining metrics, calculations, visualizations, and measurement frameworks.

• Familiarity with data domains, sources, and applications relevant to RxVantage scenarios.

• Understanding of the life sciences, healthcare provider, and pharmaceutical fields.

• Ability to create scalable and high-performing BI solutions.

• Experience managing a Jira backlog and fulfilling agreed-upon delivery timelines.

• Ability to comply with the RxVantage Tableau security framework.

• Must have a primary work location within the United States.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
