Senior Analysis Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Image Analysis team alongside developers and AI specialists to enhance and develop workflows.

• Assess requirements for new or improved tools and provide guidance to team members during the development process.

• Act as the analysis lead, overseeing all phases of analysis for imaging studies.

• Offer support for image analysis while ensuring quality control throughout various studies.

• Stay updated on research and industry trends, integrating them into organizational practices.

• Identify opportunities for development to enhance analysis workflows and efficiencies.

• Work in partnership with scientists and analysts to clarify requirements.

• Convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Describe typical workflows to facilitate usage, modification, and training.

• Provide updates on workflow modifications and gather feedback for future enhancements.

• Modify and maintain scripts for IA workflows, including VQS and Python.

• Develop new scripts for IA workflows under the guidance of senior team members.

• Conduct testing on new or modified tools, including validation testing.

• Oversee and monitor the development and testing of tools by other team members.

• Support training initiatives and team-level documentation.

• May supervise a small number of junior analysis developers as direct reports.

• Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems using new techniques.

• Contribute to the company’s intellectual property through innovative solutions.

• Publish and present findings at conferences.

• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid professional experience in a comparable role.

• Significant demonstrable experience and expertise in Image Analysis systems.

• Proven experience in roles necessitating strong organizational skills.

• Extensive experience working in and knowledge of medical imaging or clinical research/development within the life sciences sector.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or biology) or equivalent academic or industry project-related experience.

• Fluent in English.

• Advanced knowledge of scripting and programming (Python, Vivoscript, and similar).

• Comprehensive understanding of core systems.

• Advanced knowledge of image analysis workflows, image science, and modalities (e.g., CT, MR, PET, SPECT).

• Strong numerical/statistical background, including image processing capabilities.

• Proficient source code management skills using Git.

• Strong programming abilities in languages such as Python and/or C++.

• Capacity to handle production support tasks.

• Ability to plan work effectively to meet defined objectives and processes.

• Competence in managing multiple diverse tasks while prioritizing workload with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work systematically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

• Proven ability to apply critical thinking to problems and tasks.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
