Senior Amazon Connect Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate frontend applications and enterprise integrations.

• Create and optimize DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access patterns for scalable application performance.

• Develop and oversee Python-based AWS Lambda functions for business logic and automation tasks.

• Modify and enhance Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic as needed.

• Collaborate with UI development teams to convert business requirements into backend services and APIs.

• Work closely with Amazon Professional Services on the implementation and enhancement of Amazon Connect initiatives.

• Design and support event-driven architectures utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.

• Support and optimize data flows across various AWS services and integrated systems.

• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native solutions.

• Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure issues within AWS environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.

• Participate in production support activities and, when necessary, assist with after-hours deployments.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of practical experience with AWS technologies.

• 4+ years of experience with Amazon Connect, encompassing contact flows, routing, queues, and integrations.

• Strong proficiency in Python, particularly in developing AWS Lambda functions.

• Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend integrations.

• Strong understanding of DynamoDB schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience in designing and supporting cloud-native and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation practices.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and business teams.

• Experience in Agile development environments.
