Senior Algorithmic Trader / Liquidity Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Create, manage, and consistently enhance high-performance algorithmic strategies across various products.

• Take ownership of strategy development and growth plans while ensuring they align with overall business objectives.

• Collaborate closely with quantitative developers to provide design specifications and guarantee the efficient implementation of strategies and risk controls into production systems.

• Work alongside operations, clearing, and other stakeholders to facilitate the seamless and accurate onboarding of new instruments and funding requirements.

• Engage in and lead projects aimed at innovating trading and execution solutions across multiple trading platforms and on-chain infrastructures.

• Develop and enhance liquidity research and algorithmic trading solutions for Binance’s global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Over 5 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally in quantitative trading firms, brokers, and trading houses, with a demonstrated record of success.

• Proficient in market microstructure and analysis of order books and trade data.

• Experience in designing algorithmic trading and execution strategies.

• Familiarity with alpha signal generation is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of quantitative modeling, with the capability to independently create algorithm specifications for new trading strategies and collaborate with developers for their implementation.

• Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL.

• Knowledge of C++ or Rust is a plus.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a self-driven and highly independent work style.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with a global team in a dynamic environment.
