This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
β’ Engage in and lead the complete lifecycle of biosignal-based algorithm development for medical devices, encompassing specifications and requirements gathering, data curation and labeling, development, failure analysis, production, maintenance, and documentation.
β’ Choose, implement, and create the most suitable method for each challenge, including identifying when to utilize deep learning techniques as opposed to other approaches.
β’ Enhance internal deep learning and machine learning tools, introduce new model architectures and algorithmic strategies, and optimize the codebase for reusability and expedited experimentation.
β’ Promote and refine best practices for user-friendly, well-documented, thoroughly tested algorithm implementations, which include unit tests, comprehensive documentation, continuous integration, and non-regression testing.
β’ Present findings to key stakeholders and assist them in leveraging algorithms for client engagement.
β’ Support client-focused projects to comprehend and influence the impact of Beacon algorithms on customers and future algorithm development.
β’ Over 4 years of professional experience in machine learning and deep learning, particularly within health sciences or other regulated sectors.
β’ Demonstrated success in bringing algorithms into production.
β’ Experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics.
β’ Proficient in PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks for training, developing, and deploying deep learning models.
β’ Familiar with current advancements in deep learning, including Transformer/ViT, large-scale modeling, and large model training.
β’ Understanding of software and machine learning engineering best practices, such as testing, version control, code reviews, documentation, Dockerization, CI/CD, and experiment tracking.
β’ Knowledge of biosignals, medical imaging data, or extensive time-series datasets, or a strong willingness to learn in this domain.
β’ Capability to discuss and present intricate technical topics appropriately for both internal and external audiences.
β’ Eager to be involved in the complete algorithm development lifecycle, including scoping, data wrangling, experimentation, formal validation, quality/regulatory documentation, production deployment, and client collaboration.
