Senior AI Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish, prioritize, and propel production-ready AI use cases based on technical viability and business return on investment.

• Convert raw requirements into user stories featuring comprehensive acceptance criteria and edge-case considerations.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to curate high-quality evaluation datasets.

• Monitor risks of hallucinations and enhance prompts, guardrails, and context retrieval systems.

• Oversee sprint planning, backlog management, and release cycles in collaboration with AI research, data engineering, frontend development, and DevOps teams.

• Balance innovation in products, latency, and cloud consumption budgets.

• Facilitate technical workshops, product demonstrations, and executive meetings.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and governance standards in enterprise environments sensitive to compliance issues.

• Track project milestones, manage costs related to LLM tokens and infrastructure dependencies, and uphold clear risk documentation.

• Safeguard system reliability and adhere to budget limitations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in product ownership.

• Proven success in delivering contemporary software products.

• Practical experience in deploying production LLM applications, including AI agents, RAG architectures, document extraction, or conversational AI.

• Strong grasp of model evaluation techniques, prompt engineering processes, vector search, guardrails, and observability metrics such as accuracy, token usage, and latency.

• Experience in creating technical user stories, API requirements, and decision logs using Jira and Confluence.

• Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders in North America.

• Proficient in articulating complex technical trade-offs and navigating regulated business environments.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (C1+ level).

• Familiarity with Azure AI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LLM observability platforms like LangSmith, Phoenix, or Arize, or with fintech/financial services sectors is a significant advantage.
