Senior AI Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, discovery, definition, and implementation of customer-oriented AI-powered product features.

• Integrate model behavior, data requirements, evaluation techniques, unit economics, quality, security, and gross-margin implications into product decisions.

• Create and uphold the product vision and roadmaps for designated AI functionalities.

• Prioritize investments based on customer needs, product analytics, market insights, and business outcomes.

• Assess software codebases and develop functional prototypes for Engineering teams.

• Establish and disseminate repeatable AI-driven workflows across the Product team.

• Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, structured discovery, and execution throughout product cycles.

• Oversee cross-functional dependencies, risks, and milestones.

• Mentor product team members in discovery, technical evaluation, and AI workflows.

• Assist go-to-market teams with demonstrations, documentation, and technical expertise.

• Evaluate Panopto’s AI capabilities to identify gaps and opportunities.

• Provide executable prototypes and ensure AI capabilities reach engineering readiness.

• Define evaluation suites, quality benchmarks, guardrails, failure modes, and cost models.

• Prepare enablement materials for AI releases in the go-to-market strategy.

• Deliver live AI capabilities that contribute to customer retention and growth.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Product Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• 8-10+ years of experience in product management within SaaS or software environments.

• A proven history of successfully launching products from concept to market.

• Experience in developing product vision and roadmaps.

• Proven ability to lead product discovery for complex, multi-team initiatives.

• Competence in reading and assessing software codebases for technical feasibility, dependencies, scope, and sequencing.

• Hands-on experience in building functional prototypes.

• Familiarity with standard developer workflows, including Git.

• Practical experience managing AI capabilities, encompassing data pipelines, model evaluations, and AI security measures.

• Experience with customer research, competitive analysis, product analytics, and structured discovery frameworks such as JTBD, RICE, and Opportunity Solution Trees.

• Ability to align cross-functional partners and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Capability to support customer-facing teams with demonstrations, documentation, training, and domain expertise.

• Willingness to travel minimally as required by business needs.

• Excellent communication skills and an ability to grasp technical subjects, emerging technologies, and their relevance in the marketplace.
