Senior AI Product Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, design, and implement the fundamental Design System in code.

• Develop reusable component libraries that integrate Figma and code.

• Leverage AI-assisted coding and automation tools to transform concepts into functional prototypes.

• Validate concepts with real data and users prior to full production.

• Provide functional prototypes and confirmed insights to the AI Engineer for re-architecture, scaling, and production rollout.

• Manage scope, milestones, and quality across essential products and client projects.

• Influence platform direction and determine what elements become reusable foundations versus custom client solutions.

• Standardize solutions across clients and relay delivery insights back into the core product.

• Prioritize tasks and remove obstacles for the AI Engineer and Product Designer through effective product ownership and influence.

• Conceptualize, code, and launch interactive demos while enhancing existing demos to meet premium visual and brand standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior product designer with a robust visual foundation and a keen eye for detail.

• A mindset geared towards 0-to-1 execution; capable of rapidly converting abstract ideas into functional software.

• Extensive expertise in Figma and design systems.

• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Bolt, and Replit.

• Proficiency in automation tools like Dust and Zapier/Make.

• Experience in designing and delivering AI-native features for production.

• Understanding of LLM non-determinism and UX patterns for dealing with unpredictable AI outputs.

• Competence in designing micro-interactions, precise spacing, and smooth animations.

• Must be a US Citizen; sponsorship or hiring of non-citizens is not an option.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and team alignment.
