This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead Technical Engagements: Spearhead technical discovery, define POCs, and perform thorough load testing/evaluations to confirm model architectures and deployment configurations.
• Build & Deploy: Create comprehensive POCs and production integrations directly within client environments, addressing intricate security, compliance, and networking challenges.
• Strategic Advisory: Advise enterprise engineering teams on model selection, fine-tuning techniques ( , , ), and effective evaluation frameworks to transition systems from experimentation to planet-scale production.
• Own Account Architecture: Serve as the reliable technical authority across complex accounts, harmonizing diverse stakeholders and eliminating technical obstacles.
• Product Feedback Loop: Advocate for the customer perspective, relaying recurring technical trends and infrastructure challenges directly to core product and engineering teams to influence the roadmap.
• 3+ Years of Proven Impact: Demonstrated experience in customer-facing AI/ML or substantial infrastructure roles (e.g., Field Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, Solutions Architect, or MLOps Engineer) overseeing enterprise-grade technical workflows.
• Production Credentials: A solid history of delivering real AI/ML production code in live customer settings—not merely developing presentations, proofs of concept, or advisory frameworks.
• Open-Source LLM Expertise: Practical experience with LLM inference and/or training utilizing open-model frameworks, modern serving architectures, and fine-tuning processes (e.g., ). Familiarity with advanced alignment methods like or is highly desirable.
• Core Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python, direct experience in optimizing GPUs, extensive cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and container orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Executive Presence: The distinctive ability to delve deeply into a technical codebase with engineers, and effortlessly transition to whiteboarding high-level architectural considerations for senior leadership later that day.
• Total Target Compensation: OTE in the $220K – $280K range, along with a substantial equity stake in a rapidly growing, venture-backed company.
• Location Flexibility: Remote-friendly across the United States, with established hubs on both coasts. Exceptional candidates may be considered for fully remote positions.
• Support: Visa transfers and assistance available for select categories.
• Travel: Regular domestic travel to prominent enterprise customers for on-site discovery, architecture workshops, and production rollout support.
