Senior AI Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance AI agents along with orchestration capabilities utilizing Python, LangGraph, and LangChain.

• Create and expand AI-driven guided workflows and automation functionalities.

• Design, develop, and refine conversational AI and chat-based user experiences.

• Implement capabilities for agent planning, orchestration, memory management, tool-calling, and response generation.

• Integrate AI agents and applications with enterprise systems, services, and APIs.

• Support contemporary AI integration frameworks and agent communication models.

• Implement AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and performance tracking features.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to expedite platform development and the delivery of business use cases.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, enhance solution reliability, and drive ongoing platform improvements.

• Contribute to architecture discussions, establish best practices, and promote the adoption of scalable AI engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in Python development and enterprise application creation.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with LangGraph, focusing on agent workflows, stateful orchestration, multi-agent systems, and AI-driven execution flows.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with LangChain, including the development of LLM-powered applications, tool integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.

• Strong grasp of agentic AI principles, covering AI agents, planning, orchestration, memory management, and tool-calling frameworks.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade Generative AI applications and solutions.

• Familiarity with integrating AI applications into enterprise platforms, backend services, and APIs.

• Experience in designing and implementing conversational AI and chat-based applications in live environments.

• Understanding of AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and evaluation platforms.

• Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Experience collaborating in Agile development settings and with cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication is a plus.

• Background in building and deploying multi-agent AI solutions in production is advantageous.

• Experience with implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and knowledge-based AI systems is beneficial.

• Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search technologies is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.

• Experience supporting centralized AI platforms for various business functions and use cases is a plus.

• Exposure to healthcare or other highly regulated enterprise environments is considered a plus.
