Senior AI Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance AI agents along with orchestration capabilities utilizing Python, LangGraph, and LangChain.

• Create and expand AI-powered guided workflows and automation functionalities.

• Design, develop, and optimize conversational AI and chat-based interactions.

• Implement capabilities for agent planning, orchestration, memory management, tool-calling, and response generation.

• Integrate AI agents and applications with enterprise systems, services, and APIs.

• Support modern AI integration frameworks and agent communication patterns.

• Establish AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and performance tracking functionalities.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to expedite platform development and business use case execution.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, enhance solution reliability, and promote ongoing platform improvements.

• Contribute to architecture discussions, best practices, and the adoption of scalable AI engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in Python development and enterprise application development.

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience with LangGraph, covering agent workflows, stateful orchestration, multi-agent systems, and AI-driven execution flows.

• At least 2 years of experience with LangChain, including developing LLM-powered applications, tool integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.

• Strong understanding of agentic AI concepts such as AI agents, planning, orchestration, memory management, and tool-calling frameworks.

• Experience in building and deploying production-grade Generative AI applications and solutions.

• Proven track record of integrating AI applications with enterprise platforms, backend services, and APIs.

• Experience in designing and implementing conversational AI and chat-based applications in production settings.

• Familiarity with AI observability, monitoring, telemetry, and evaluation platforms.

• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent skills in problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.

• Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication.

• Experience in building and deploying multi-agent AI solutions in a production environment.

• Familiarity with implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and knowledge-based AI systems.

• Experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience working on centralized AI platforms that support multiple business functions and use cases.

• Exposure to healthcare or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
