Senior AI and Agentic Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create user-facing interfaces utilizing TypeScript and React, as well as backend services and APIs using Python or Node.

• Execute agentic behavior, encompassing orchestration, tool and function invocation, memory management, and guardrails.

• Develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines that include ingestion, chunking, embeddings, and both vector and hybrid search.

• Integrate AI systems with enterprise data and applications through APIs, semantic layers, and protocols like MCP.

• Construct evaluation suites and regression tests for LLM-driven features, while monitoring costs, latency, and quality in a production environment.

• Implement version control, code review processes, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and observability.

• Deploy solutions on GCP, Azure, or AWS, and design and sustain data pipelines that support AI systems.

• Regularly utilize Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor with verification and oversight.

• Update clients and project leads on progress, trade-offs, and any obstacles encountered.

• Assist in pre-sales activities by defining solutions, creating demos, and estimating required efforts.

• Guide junior engineers and contribute to internal accelerators, reusable components, and engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software or data engineering.

• Significant hands-on experience with AI tools and LLM-based development over the last year.

• Proficient programming skills in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Skilled in building and utilizing APIs.

• Experience in front-end development with React or comparable frameworks.

• Familiarity with at least one backend framework.

• Practical experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector search techniques.

• Knowledge of at least one agentic framework, such as LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, Claude Agent SDK, or OpenAI Agents SDK.

• In-depth expertise in at least one major AI platform ecosystem: Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI.

• Professional experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP, Azure, or AWS.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.

• Proficiency with agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor.

• Professional English proficiency at a minimum of C1 or C2 level.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Certification on at least one major AI platform or cloud must be obtained within the first two months if not already held.

• Availability during U.S. business hours.

• An updated resume.

• A GitHub link or portfolio showcasing AI systems or full-stack projects that have been developed and deployed in production.

• A 1-2 minute Loom video introducing yourself, demonstrating one production AI system you have owned end-to-end, and discussing its evaluation and reliability.
