Senior Agile Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Strategize, implement, and fulfill projects utilizing Agile, Iterative Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from defining scope and planning to closure and lessons learned.

• Create, monitor, and manage project budgets effectively.

• Detect budget discrepancies, conduct root-cause analysis, and outline corrective measures.

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies using the RAID framework.

• Inform sponsors and senior leadership of emerging risks or budget issues along with actionable plans.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and supervise Waterfall governance checkpoints.

• Manage project artifacts, backlogs, and roadmaps through Jira, Confluence, and associated collaboration tools.

• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional, distributed teams.

• Provide routine status updates to executive stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or CSPO certification is mandatory.

• More than 10 years of progressive project management experience, including managing medium-to-large cross-functional projects.

• Fluent in English (100%) for client interactions in the US.

• Expert-level knowledge of Agile, Iterative Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong skills in budget management and proactive risk mitigation.

• Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, and various project management platforms.

• Experience in cost estimation, budget management, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Competence in RAID log management, risk quantification, and root-cause analysis.

• Preferred experience in logistics/transportation.
