This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Support the Project Manager in strategizing, executing, and overseeing project timelines, financials, and deliverables.
• Act as Scrum Master for one or more teams, facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Mentor teams on Agile methodologies while ensuring compliance with the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve obstacles impacting team efficiency or project advancement.
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and include clear acceptance criteria.
• Serve as a liaison among stakeholders, engineering teams, and project management regarding project updates, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with clients and leadership in Program Increment planning, aligning with broader program objectives.
• Track project health and progress using Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Produce reports on sprint metrics, team velocity, and risk management strategies.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement improvements to processes.
• Ensure that documentation related to business processes and technical expectations is accurate, scalable, and up-to-date.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, along with the capability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust security clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of experience in a Project Management, Scrum Master, or similar role, demonstrating a successful history of managing Agile teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in facilitating ceremonies in a dynamic environment.
• Practical experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, including board setup, reporting, and workflow management.
• Outstanding facilitation and communication abilities, capable of translating intricate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven capability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and effectively mitigate barriers.
• Ability to assist the Project Manager with daily operations and provide direction to team members.
• Competence in handling multiple priorities and collaborating across various disciplines.
• Professional certifications such as CSM, CSPO, SSM, or PMP are highly preferred.
• Experience within a government or federal contracting environment is an advantage.
