Senior AdTech Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance back-end components and infrastructure for a programmatic advertising platform.

• Create low-latency, high-throughput services that process ad requests in milliseconds.

• Construct proprietary AI agents for the purchasing and distribution of media.

• Collaborate with data scientists to improve content tagging and enrich ad requests.

• Integrate with third-party AdTech platforms and APIs, including OpenRTB, DSPs, and SSPs.

• Supervise work, execute code and peer reviews, and mentor other engineers.

• Take ownership of a critical area independently while supporting the broader engineering team.

• Exercise architectural judgment within a real-time bidding environment.

• Contribute to the integration of agentic processes into the platform.

• Engage in GitOps deployments and uphold a code-review culture.

• Develop proprietary technology with a focus on problem-solving.

• Enhance a live, performance-critical platform without disrupting existing functionalities.

• Be responsible for the design and end-to-end delivery of services or components.

• Mentor engineers through code reviews, providing guidance on technical standards; formal line management is not required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of advanced back-end engineering experience with Node.js.

• More than 3 years of experience in developing low-latency, high-throughput systems that require millisecond response times and manage high request volumes.

• Relevant experience may encompass fintech, trading, payments, banking platforms, or real-time gaming or betting back-ends.

• At least 1 year of proficient, hands-on experience in building agentic AI for production, including LLM agents and collaborating with data scientists on models.

• Experience must include building AI agents rather than merely utilizing AI tools.

• Over 5 years of advanced experience in constructing APIs and third-party integrations.

• At least 2 years of experience in conducting code reviews and peer reviews, guiding engineers, or equivalent experience as a senior individual contributor who formally mentors engineers and maintains review standards.

• More than 3 years of experience with TypeScript; strong modern JavaScript experience may be considered as a substitute.

• At least 2 years of practical experience with React.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS or Azure may be considered as a substitute.

• More than 2 years of experience using Kubernetes and Argo CD for GitOps deployments; Kubernetes with Flux or Helm may be considered as a substitute.

• Senior Engineer/Architect-level capabilities with technical leadership experience and the ability to work collaboratively with the CTO.
