This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Process vendor invoices and payment disbursements while verifying purchase orders, vendor details, taxes, discounts, and coding.
β’ Assess subcontractor invoices against purchase orders and contracts, confirming costs, retainage, and payment terms.
β’ Oversee the complete lien waiver and lien release process, which includes requesting, tracking, reviewing, and collecting essential documentation.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for lien waiver management.
β’ Follow up with vendors to resolve documentation issues, ensuring timely processing of payments.
β’ Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances, missing invoices, payment discrepancies, and account-related issues.
β’ Conduct research and resolve intricate payment delays by tracing invoices, approvals, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
β’ Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Accounting teams to address discrepancies and uphold accurate financial records.
β’ Leverage document management and workflow systems to route invoices and supporting documentation for review and approval.
β’ Assist in AP automation and process enhancement initiatives.
β’ Must possess construction or extensive lien waiver experience.
β’ Minimum of 2 years in a Senior or lead-level accounts payable position.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in a construction-specific accounts payable setting.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of intermediate-level experience with Excel.
β’ Familiarity with construction-focused systems.
β’ Previous lead-level experience overseeing accounts payable processes and resolving complex issues directly.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
β’ Eagerness to learn, develop, and embrace new challenges.
β’ Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with project, purchasing, and accounting teams, as well as interaction with vendors and subcontractors.
β’ Interest in supporting and implementing AP automation and process improvement initiatives.
β’ Availability to work within a standard 40-hour work week, primarily on Central Time, with flexibility regarding start and end times.
